 These videos will help me create my newsletter  better because they are informing me to how to open up the new document on illustrator. its also showing you how to print the newsletter with a great resolution . it also explains how you can manage the distance of your templates. illustrator also  is a big help with the images when you import them from any place because the images resolution will never expand the images will stay sharp no matter the size you make.

Interactive Brochure summary 3/3/11

   With  the interactive tools that indesign has added it lets us add intersting effects to the web brochure. Such as On the welcome title we can put motion into it. we can also put motion to the images you have on the brochure. we may place different types of sound and video files. This interactive feature changes the view of the client, i feel it will make it more exciting for them to read the brochure because of all the intersting movements occuring around the brochure. The way this interactive feature is set up is very clear and organized and it will now make my web brochure a tad more intersting.

Portfolios - reflection blog

     I Created a portfolio for my visual design class work i constructed threw my fall semester. There were many purposes for my portfolio such as gathering up all my projects into one folder followed by all the labs i constructed to make my final projects fantastic. The targeted people to view my portfolio are colleges, so they can be able to see the types of skills i have.Other people that view it are any type of people that are interested in help for design or creating logos,business cards and advertisements.I created this portfolio in acrobat pro 9.First, i duplicated each file from a psd to a jpg. i sorted the work into two categories Image work and Design work. In image work i placed labs 1-3 and my project 1 which was a college of Alex Rodriguez. In my Design work folder i placed my labs 4-9 which consisted of works of text and Logos i created for my business cards and advertisement. To streamline the file sizes of my portfolio i had to do the process of  converting each file to a PDF and make the file be less than MB which is KB.I'd say my portfolio is not an accurate example of my work so far because a couple of my Indesign files that are uploaded are corrupted, so the person may not be able to see that work as they please, but besides that inconvenience my portfolio could have been accurate to the work i have completed in my fall semester of visual design.
